When you make your account, you have the option to make a "Director" account. It increases your upload time dramatically

Aha! I never realized director accounts gave increased time.

Pretty good. you kept me entertained through the whole movie. The lighting was a little dark though.

Also, if you're an active user, with a certain number of views, they give you a notification of dropping the 15 minute limit.

Yeh, the above^ -they sent me a note saying that i can now upload videos over 15mins.. which is just wonderful!
Although the quality sucks ass big time...

I just got one of those notifications myself. When I saw it I was all like

It's not that bad, and it'll only get better over the years... The only thing I don't like is the amount of bass frequencies YT cuts out of the final audio mix. I spend ages putting a soundscape together, it works on AVI but gets weakened online.

I shouldn't gripe. We're getting spoilt in the techno-revolution.
