This is Steve Janas, filmmaker from the Philadelphia area. I own a production company called Reel Stuff Entertainment (www.ReelStuff-Entertainment.com), which has made more than 500 web and new media videos since we got started in 2006. We've done original series for The Discovery Channel, The Travel Channel and others, but that's not what I signed on here to talk about.
Like many others, I've always dreamed about making features, and I'm making some progress there. I have a short film almost finished called "The Tolltaker" (that would be the 'monsters' referred to in the thread title). The script for the feature-length version was a semi-finalist in the 2005 Nicholl Fellowship screenwriting competition. Here's a link to the trailer; I'd love some feedback:
