Magic Lantern for the 550D or T2i

Hey guys and gals, I was just wondering if you could help me with the newest update for the 550D or T2i because I would like to put it on my canon. Do I have to put a program of magic lantern onto my canon then download the update? I'm very new to magic lantern and I want to make sure I download it correctly and I have the newest or best version.

You just download & store the newest version to your computer, and then copy the files onto any memory cards that you want it on.

Since you will format your cards completely from time to time, you'll want to keep a permanent copy on your computer.

there is a first boot thing, where you have to make you t2i able to USE Magic Lantern builds. But after that, it loads from the Mem card everytime. Easy to undo, just format the card and your back to STOCK.

Just copy the update files onto the card.
If you go through the route of formatting and re-building the card don't forget to make it bootable.
