I know this is a long shot...
Last summer I was living in Portugal - started watching a short film on TV and never got the name of it.
It's been driving me nuts trying to find out what the title is so maybe someone on here can help?
Here is a quick run down of the plot - film was in English.
I may be a little off with the details since I was inspired by the story to create a similar film.
Starts off with a girl and guy dating (first couple of dates), girl finds out from her friend that the guy cheated on his last girl friend.
Girl can't trust guy and doesn't want to be with him - guy wants to prove his loyalty so he asks her what he can do...girl asks guy to wait for her to finish a painting in a park where they met (I think the boy was an ice cream vendor in the park?) - where she goes to paint for the next couple of days.
Day and night the boy waits, through rain and darkness in the park.
He gets help from the animals in the park - ex: owl drops him a rain hat?
Eventually the girl finishes her painting, trusts the guy and they get back together.
Does this ring a bell with anyone?
I'm not quite sure what the channel was - could have been IFC - but I left Portugal about 6 months ago.
