I'm guessing "old school" though I'm not quite sure what the differences are, since I don't listen to rap.

What I'm mainly looking for is very unnecessarily, over-the-top violent lyrics. It'll make the shot much funnier.

The song in that is very unnecessary (so is the slo-mo strut) which makes it funnier. Similar to my shot.

I'm shooting a rap video end of Jan. The artist has done some stuff with Wu-Tang and Jedi Mind... so he's the real deal. I can check on what he has. It won't be quick because I'll only be seeing him in the New Year.

Haven't been on it in years, but MySpace used to be the place to go to trawl through music to find exactly what you wanted. If MySpace is still dead-dead, there's gotta be another similar spot.

Public domain songs are free to use at will and mutiliate at your own discretion.
I wish there was a genre filter, but I can't find it if there is one or figure out how to locate it.
But there are currently 381 public domain songs available, surely one rap song is bound to do the trick for you.
