For a while I thought there would be no time to make a christmas video this year, but a christmas ball, a wifi USB dongle and an oliebol came together in this Star Trek inspired little video.
This video is created with practical visual effects and After Effects for the warp speed effect. (No 3D modeling.)

Shot on Canon 80D at 50fps.

A small rotating plateau (like the ones used to display watches in shops) with a fondu-fork standing on it.
I made the fork invisible untill the end where the sugar falls.
