List of production companies accepting unsolicited material

Hey All!

I been thinking about making a list of production companies that accepts unsolicited scripts, synopses, etc. To make it easier for the users of Indietalk to get in contact with the right people.

I reckon if we shared our knowledge on which production companies accepts material, we would have a long list very quickly, one that could benefit a lot of people on this forum. Anyway, it's just a thought. :)

What do you guys think?

I think it's a great idea.

I'm sorry that I don't know of any prodCo's that accept unsolicited scripts, synopses, etc.
Almost all prodCo's will accept a query letter.

BBC - Writers Room

(BBC Writers' Room does accept unsolicited scripts, but not with a view to getting them made. Instead they seek to use original scripts to discover writing talent that might then serve an apprenticeship of sorts on various BBC soaps etc, and then maybe your own project one day. It's more about discovering talented writers than scripts, so not really much use to a writer with a script ready to go.)

It's more about discovering talented writers than scripts, so not really much use to a writer with a script ready to go.

(This is all paraphrasing a talk from one of the people who run it, by the way).
