lighting light, light light

hey everybody,

I would just like to throw in that cinematography is by far, one of the most challenging aspects I've ever encountered YET it can be so beautiful!! It's just driving me bananas!! I really wanna be good at it, cause I KNOW it can produce phenomenal results...and im still scratching my head most times.

What about you guys? What is YOUR most troubling field in filmmaking? :)

P.S. Yes I am familiar with the basics and all, and I read a book about it. :)

I find problems making the drama keep its integrity in the edit. Hardest part for me is getting the story from my head/the page onto the screen... I find the technical stuff very easy - but I'm a geek, so that's natural.

I see what you mean. Yeah transitioning it from the head onto the screen. Can be tough at times :)
