The bulb in my softbox just died, after being on for five minutes. Out of nowhere, there was a loud pop sound and the light died. Any ideas why? It was pretty surprising to tell you truth.
My mother, an ex-photographer, suggested that it was possible from me touching them. But, I specifically remember using a cloth to screw in the bulbs. I'm pretty sure I had the wrong voltage. I guess I need a power inverter?

Either that maybe, the oil from fingers (who knows maybe you did it by accident and don't remember), or you accidentally jarred the lights at some point during transport or setup, or while they were on by accident. Any of that could cause a bust.
