I was driving to work today, and saw a funny bumper sticker. Story immediately came to my head. As soon as I got an access to the computer, wrote down a quick draft.
What do you guys think?
FADE IN
EXT. Woods - night
A car is driving on the empty road.
INT. CAR - NIGHT
Female (20s) is behind the wheel, listening to a radio. She is singing along of a song of the radio. MUSIC dissipates into a static. Female jerks the radio knob a couple of times.
FEMALE
Oh come on!
She goes through the several stations but there is only static. She turns the radio off and, with a sigh, drops her head onto a head rest. She starts quietly singing to herself.
The lights on dashboards begin to flicker.
EXT. WOODS - NIGHT
The headlights turn off, and back on.
Windshield wipers turn on.
INT. CAR - NIGHT
Female begins messing with the switches.
FEMALE
What the hell!
The car looses all the power and dies.
EXT. Woods - night
Car rolls on the side of the road in the dark, and stops.
INT. CAR - NIGHT
Female turns the ignition key, but there is no sound coming out at all. She reaches for the cell phone, but the cellphone is dead.
Female
You're got to be kidding..
She throws the cell phone on the passenger seat, and grabs a door handle. WHOOSH! Bright BLUE-WHITE light illuminates the
interior of the car.
Female blocks the light with her hand, and tries to see the source a of light.
Three small figures standing about 20 feet away from the car. Woman locks the door in panic, and goes for the ignition keys again.
BOOM! Passenger and driver windows explodes, with pieces of glass breaking tiny pieces.
LOUD LOW BUZZING SOUND.
Woman looks around the car, and notices everything begins to shake. Her cellphone on the seat raises up, levitating into the open window. Small pieces of dirt, pens, and papers fly out of the window, following her purse.
Woman's earring begin to raise up as well. She bites her lip in pain, and holds on to her ear. She slowly begins to raise up. She grabs the steering wheel, and the earring tears from her ear lobe, leaving a small trace of blood floating towards the light in the sky. She begins to raise up from the seat, and the seatbelt
SOUND gets LOUDER, but the woman is not moving any higher.
ZOOM in on a seat belt buckle.
FAST FADE OUT
TEXT APPEARS:
"Wear Seat Belts".
"It makes harder for the aliens to kidnap you"
