Just a simple question...

Usually quality = Money because Money = Time, time to find a great talented crew, time to plan and perfect, to get quality equipment, and so on.

What's the triangle theory again? The three corners of the triangle are GOOD, FAST, and CHEAP. You can pick any two corners at the expense of the third. It can be done good and fast but it won't be cheap. Or fast and cheap but it won't be good. Or good and cheap but it won't be fast. Thoughts?

I would think that the better the camera the... the better. At the very least, don't you need a camera that is capable of capturing that great cinematography you wrote of? I know that I would hate to put in all that careful thought and hard work into setting up and executing the cinematography -in your terms- only to find that the camera just couldn't capture it, or produce a satisfying visual experience for an audience, or at least one that didn't cause them to give up and walk out.
