Is this deal worth it? (Cannon 550d)

Hey guys,
Im gonna buy my first DSLR soon with a budget of around 800$..
I found this deal on

Is this good? Or should I get Body and buy lens separately? Will that come under 800?

This is the 800 one.. If you guys think first one is better, I'll sell my kidney and get another 68$

AVOID THE KITS!!!

Sorry, not to scream at you haha, but yeah those kits aren't worth it. There's a lot of debate and advice in threads here about what lenses you should go with. Some like he single kit 18-50, others don't, but all that extra stuff feels cheap because it is really, really cheap stuff. Even the extra kit lenses.

You'd be better off buying separately the body (or body with one kit lens), extra lenses, memory cards, tripod, etc...

Haha no problem..I understand what you said..Thing is I live in india where everything will be much more expensive..my sister is visiting and i thot ill get camera frm ther since its cheaper..
Is there anything in the kit worth buying separately? I can then cross check its price..
Also, GH2 for 900$ with 14-42mm lens? Its more than 1600usd equivalent here..Should I sell my other kidney as well?
