That "douchebag" is interviewed in the link you gave.

He seems pretty chill about things and likes peoples' mythos-based additions, but if there's going to be real money involved you'd probably need something in writing.

He also probably podded me in Eve Online lol.

haha.. I had no idea one guy came up with it.. I thought its a fakelore and many youtube channel's contributed in it.. so the term douchebag was generic for anyone who might have copyrighted it (if at all)..
What if its not called Slenderman but vaguely resembles him.. since its based originally on irish folk tale..would that be passable?
