Ironman 3 - Art or life?

On the eve of Ironman 3's release in North America, I offer you a choice - would you rather get the money to do an Iron Man movie, or would you rather BE Ironman? Don't forget, if you want to be Tony Stark, you have to accept the dangers.

Let the debate begin! :)

Interesting question. But I'll take the money for the movie. I'm not sure that even Tony Stark wants to be Tony Stark, it's kinda more like a civic duty.

BTW, I just saw it, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Fun movie!

Nah. I am who I am. Sure, it'd be nice to be a genius and a billionaire etc. But Iron Man is a fictional hero. Yeah yeah. But I'm a real loser geek who can appreciate his story, at least, and I suppose that's good enough for me.

It certainly would be fun to be Tony Stark... Not too sure about the idea of being a target for terroroists and psychopaths though...

Iron Man 3 was definitely a fun movie. The Mandarin was a great villain.

Money can't buy teh smarts, just sayin'.

That said, I'd still take the money. Cash, por favor.

.

That's the debate - you get the money, and you get the choice of building an Iron Man suite (as well as the billionaire playboy lifestyle) OR you make the movie, but you spend everything on the budget, so you're just a working stiff.

Which would you prefer?

I personally think I'd rather be tony, cause if I just take the money I will have nothing left after the film is made, but If I am Tony, well then the possibilities are endless

I'd agree - but remember you have to take the risks of being attacked. Mussonman, I'd agree, but, to make the discussion a challenge, you EITHER build the suit or make the movie.

But that what makes it more interesting, even if I get killed I will die in my prime young on top of the world and be remembered like Hercules or other great legends/myth, where as if I just make a good film I will be rememberd until some one remakes it, and will probably die old and forgotten

Good point. Arnold Schwarzennegger may be remembered as the Terminator, but was Steve Reeves, another former body builder, remembered? Has Victor Mature been remembered?

That said, if you're the first to build an Iron Man suit, that may be remembered, the way Orville and Wilbur Wright have been remembered. Or the way Neil Armstrong is remembered for being the first to set foot on the moon.

yep, like the great Micky Roure once said "id rather die young and cool, then live to be old and uncool" here is a qestion do you from which movie that qoute was
