Just got on this thing as well. Been cruising around the forum, figuring some things out. I'm a young filmmaker living in the Netherlands. I shoot most of my films in the summer (in the states), and return here for work, and spend the winter editing them. My latest film was titled, Westless American, originally a feature length project shot in 16mm, edited down to a 7 minute short. It is living it's life out on the festival circuit as I'm writing this, showing in mid Nov. at the Ohio Independent film Festival. It's played a few others, some were fun, some were poorly run.
Currently working on another short (dv), titled, The Alleghenian. I'll probably have that done by Christmas. I think I'll be creating shorts for at least another two years, as you all know, honing the craft...and there is a lot of honing to do. So with that thought...hope you're all well and making the films you want to make.
