Interesting. How could you possibly decline?

I've recently been introduced to the hype surrounding the "Panasonic AG AF100 series".

On premise alone, by that of stock-footage, rumour, and an indepth list of features, I'm sat wondering, feeling slightly benign as to the impact held in its promise.

STOCK FOOTAGE

Prices are set to be in the region similar to those of the DSLR range. (Or so the grapevine has whispered)

Principly as a writer, I'm merely out of interest, intrigued as to its presence.

Interesting, no?

It's shaping up to be the next big thing. I don't know much about those 4/3 sensors, and there is some crop with certain lenses, but it seems like the best of DSLR combined with best of prosumer 3CCD cams. It's more expensive than a DSLR though. I am hearing about $5K.

I'm giving it a test drive this weekend. On Nov 4 here in
LA a local rental house is sponsering a "landing party" for
the camera. I'm excited!

I imagined so, pricewise. Although, I'd have to test-drive the model before we commit, online research can only get you so far, ofcourse.

Ric, do let us know how your venture goes. This is a very intriguing development.

The stock footage isn't flattering to its potential, however. I assume upon its mass release, we'll be seeing an avalanche of pleasantries via YT.
