Its become a tradition for us, when one of our main actors forgets to show up to a film party for our big summer films, instead of just cancelling the day, all the people that came, brainstorm up all the new mainstream movies that came out that year and do a combined parady to them...
**The rules are, the whole film must be filmed that day and all the editing must be done within 24 hours of when we stopped filming the movie. We call the films "Inspiration" Enjoy

Hey guys. My friends and I just made a sequel to another movie we did called Inspiration. It's just a spoof on different movies that have come out, like Batman, Fantastic Four, Hitchhikers Guide, etc... Hopefully you'll think it's funny. Without that caveat, a most honest assesment was forthcoming. ;)

Regardless...

It's a 22 minute film that should have been 10 minutes, at most.

There are many moments that are simply hilarious... at the same time, all of those moments are played out well beyond their worth. Make the joke and move on.

There was no reason (especially at the beginning) for the sound to be so bad. The mic-capture was at a reasonable level, but all the added music & fx was blown well above. That's actually an odd situation to be in. The editor may need to take a fresh look.

For a film that is pulled out of the blue, it's not so bad. It touches on several other inspirations (duh: title) that you lot have had.

For something that was made up on the spot, it's rather good. For something that holds attention and makes a point... well... not so good.

ASAP are the same lot that made that made Dreams of Redemption, yes?

I've seen the great things you peeps can do... maybe I'm being a little hard in what I expected of you. :(
 
Thank you very much for your feedback, your right, after making the second one,I recentally decided to sit down and watched the the first one and then the second one in order and I have to admit the first one had me a little bored.... and like you said, some parts were good and I would watch those but then skip to the next good part.
And thanks again for your comments towards Proven DoR!!
Basically with Inspiration, everything you see in the movie, is what was filmed, there really are no retakes...just total improv!
Im wondering though, did you get to see the second one, with Batman and WotW???
