Hi there,

I have been interested in film making for many years and a massive fan of films since childhood. I have seen many ideas fall through my fingers but have recently finished writing a screenplay for a short film with a friend and it looks promising. We're now looking at storyboarding and I am really enjoying the process. We have reached the problem of funding. It seems to be an issue for many unestablished film makers, especially in regional areas of the UK, outside of London. Any tips or advice would be great.

It doesn't take long to figure out there's a big difference between writing pie-in-the-sky stories and those that you can actually direct and produce.
