i dont have any equipment right now, so Im gonna rent everything. how many lights would we night to light a scene at night? its going to be in a graveyard.

How many lights do you need to shoot a scene at night?

Gonna need a wee bit more info than that, to really be of any help.
Does the happen to have power, btw, or is that something else to consider?

gonna guerilla shoot everything in a graveyard. the scene should only be 5 minutes tops, all in the same area.
A bunch of 12-volt lamps rigged up and plugged into your vehicle(s) cig lighter (you can make long 12 volt extentions easily). If it's really far, a motorcycle battery will work. 5 minutes top like you said.
Eventually 12 volt LED lamps will dominate portable low budget lamps (less battery use) .
