How long can a screenplay continue after this event?

How many pages should a screenplay have after the villain is defeated? In some of my scripts, the villain loses before I reach the 90 pages minimum and I had to add some extra pages with story...Is this ok? Should a screenplay end shortly after the main enemy is defeated, or can it continue until the story itself is over?(all situations are solved, characters reunite, etc.)...Thank you for taking your time to read and answer this!:)

If the main villain is the main and the last problem to solve, then probably the story should end shortly afterwards. But if the protagonist has another goal to achieve, like a marriage proposal or something, then it's ok that it goes for extra 5-10 pages.

Do the extra pages add to your story? Are the extra pages with story needed?
then yes, it's okay.

If you are adding extra pages with story with no other reason than to add
extra pages to meet a page count then no, it's not okay.

It's a piece of string question. The answer is the appropriate amount of pages. As many pages are you need to succinctly show the hero's new world/life etc.

Technically you can make it as long as you want. No one can stop you. If you make it too long, too short or inappropriate, you run the risk ruining the positive experience for the audience.
