The person responsible for setting up the set of a music video gave me footage which had shadows behind the artist in the music video is there any way to get rid of the shadows without affecting the blue screen ?

Are you talking about shadows on the blue screen itself? You might need to tweak the Screen Matte settings, like "Clip Black" and "Clip White" threshholds.

If there is low blur then I would recommend rotoscoping your subject.

However it would be best to show us a frame from the video blue screen untouched so we can judge how bad is bad.
