Hooking Up Camera to TV

Hello,

I am in desperate need of advice.

I have a Sony DSR-400 Which is camera people use in the news biz. I have to hook it up to a projector and stream live footage to the projector for the audience. I only have a DV OUT plug in the back which is a 6 pin firewire port the rest are audio and power inputs, the projector only has composite input on it (Red, Yellow, white) and i dont know if there is some sort of special plug that will convert the firewire to composite cables.

In short: How would i display the footage with just a dv out port on my cam

Please help me!!

Thanks!

Welcome to indietalk.

The 400 has only the i.LINK (what Sony calls firewire) output which
is digital and your projector has only the RCA input which is analog.
So you need a digital to analog converter.

Look for the ADVC110 from Grass Valley/Canopus.
