Hi, everyone! Joining this site thanks to recommendations by Mara and others in GIAA I've primarily performed on stage (especially musical theatre), but am interested in branching into film and improving my skills/knowledge. Looking forward to learning more here!

Welcome, Ashley. Back in the 80's I did a lot of theater (production, very little acting), mostly with the L.A. Actors Theater and the L.A. Theater Center (now called The Latino Theater Company), and the assorted obligatory dinner theater and experimental pieces at Warner Ranch. And I absolutely LOVED IT! Had I been better at my craft, I'd have moved to New York... I just wasn't that good. But the 150-odd Equity waver theaters (I think they changed the term) in Los Angeles means you can see a new play just about every day of the year. I can't help but admire the people who can tackle theater, just wish I could.
