Hi everyone! Start of a 2nd career?

He everyone,

I'm an engineer who has been doing a lot of freelance 3D cad and 3D printing work. I've always wanted to get into the film industry using my engineering skills. I'm still not 100% sure how to do it but I've had a couple 3D print jobs where they use the print for films. That might be my best bet? Anyway, I hope to get as much info as I can from here and look forward to the community. thank you

I never knew how flexible 3d printing and cutting could make a low budget project until I had a freelance engineer show me what it could do. He uses a CNC machine, but it is still the same overall concept I think.

Having someone like that in an indie production is a great thing!
