Hi, Everybody!

My name's Ryan. I'm a graphic design graduate with experience in SLR's. In school I specialized in illustration and drawing or rather that's what I preferred. Right now, since I'm not employed and don't have a PS3 or 360, I spend the majority of my time on my artwork and learning new techniques. Of those techniques I learning what I really wanted to learn while I was in school, but my school didn't possess, cinematography and animation and also along with those two editing and Adobe AE techniques.
I'm debating whether I should go to grad school for filmmaking or learn it on my own from from the internet and experience.
I'm from Gary, In but I am next to Chicago. Right now I'm a freelance visual artist (there's a list of stuff I do), and in refernce to indie filmmaker, I'm a storyboard artist, cameraman, and DP :weird:

@ Zensteve

Yeah, I know all so well from the same dilemma I had with graphic design. Also I've heard and read many arguments, books, magazines, almost any source that talked about the subject. However it's probably gonna come down to if I can get more gigs and promising possibilities that would outweigh attendingto college.
