Help with WGA/LOC on purchased script

HI - I jut came across this forum and it looks to have some good info.

For my first post:

OK - So I have a script optioned. When it comes time to purhase am I supposed to notify the WGA and LOC that I am the owner? What about rewrites? Do they need to be submited as something new?
