My name is Val, I am based on Los Angeles and though I live in Hollywood, I don't make any movies myself 
I am a business partner in a small R&D software company which solves wicked problems for studios. Of course, there are Avid, Apple and other giants developing most of the post-prod software. We, on the other hand, focus on solving post-prod issues that others did not even think of trying (like transcoding .prores on the fly in browser, etc).
Fun job to do, stimulates me to be creative and I could not think of better place to seek for inspiration than Indie film community.
