Hello from Germany

Hi there,

as I have already posted a bit on this great board, I should introduce myself ;)

As the title says, I am from (north) Germany. There is a german filmmaking board, where most "experts" tell you to buy equipment most users can't afford and where the technical aspects are most important. But in the end the films are...well...boring. I just don't like german movies, almost nothing from the pros and very very little from the amateurs. Its all about getting the perfect "film look", not about making a movie with "a soul".

So I was looking for something different and found this place. It is very refreshing finding some people, who focus on a good story and have ideas realising it with creativity.

I hope my future posts can be as useful as yours are for me. And sorry for my weak grammar/vocabulary, school is some years ago already ;)

Best regards,
Chicken Joe / Matthias

Welcome to IndieTalk, Matthias! Hopefully you'll find what you're after over here… and I wouldn't worry about your English, you'll be showing up some of our native speakers ;)
