Hello from Columbus, Ohio!

Hey everyone! New member here and brand new to filmmaking too. Just found this forum last week. I'm a student at Ohio State University, but I just decided to change up my major to pursue a video production degree from Ohio University. Hopefully I can get into the school this Fall and start learning some things and cranking out some projects!

I've got some basic experience in photography, shooting both digital and B&W film, mostly just for basic college level classes and for fun. I really enjoy photography, but I've always had a desire to branch out into the filmmaking world.

I've been lurking the forum for the past week, trying to soak up as much basic knowledge as I can, but I plan to start asking questions and becoming a part of the community. Seems like a great group you guys have here. Excited to become a part of it!

Thanks! And yes, actually! I went to link my Flickr and I realized that I actually hadn't uploaded really much of anything, so I went ahead and added some older stuff up from my computer. Haven't been shooting much throughout the past year, but I plan to get back into that more as well. I think my newer stuff will be in a different sort of direction from most of what I have online, but it's cool to look back through those again and think about what I like/dislike and what needs improvement.
