guidelinefilm here

Hey folks

There's some pretty cool and intimidating stuff going on here on this site! I'm stunned by some of your works, guys!

My name is Andreas. guidelinefilm is the name of a little conglomerate of three people that attempts to bring my humble screenwriting ambitions to life. That's basically all there's to it -- I want to tell stories but neither can I write well nor can I paint pretty pictures. So I figured "film" is the way to go. The rest is a history of weekends -- mostly nights and -yeah- winter.

Our current project is called "Voice in me" and I'd be proud to talk about it in the project-section of the forum. It's guidelinefilm's pioneer.

So that's that...I'm looking forward to sharing thoughts, ideas, concepts and my progress on the current and upcoming projects in the future with you guys!

I'll gladly post infos, pics, teasers and trailers from "Voice In Me" step-by-step in the project-section in the days to come. I already got some stuff packed on my blog http://guidelinefilm.blogspot.com/ ...so check it out if you like!

See you around

Cheers from Bavaria,

Andreas

welcome.. film is the current TOP art form, not the lesser. Think about it.. when people read a great book they say.. "hey, that should be a movie!" Good movies are HARDER than Good writing.. (or rather good movies devour good writing) .. so get good at writing.. (FYI: I too am noob! Do not listen to my advice on pain of failure!)

Hey wheatgrinder...

thanks for your comment and your advice...I appreciate it!

Sometimes the English language is hard for me...I didn't mean to say that film had to be the logical step down from my disabilities in writing and painting. I meant to say that I actually think that film IS the form of art I can identify and express myself best with! Don't get me wrong...everything starts with an idea and I simply love to write ...but I'm not exactly "good" at it...know what I mean, wheatgrinder? Some in fact say my stuff is rather enjoyable to read...but it's really only the essentials for me to keep track and to organize my thoughts!

So ... I hope I made my point there :)

Cheers from Bavaria

Andreas

Welcome Grasshopper!

I'm one of the audio guys here.

Keep in mind that the search function is your friend. Everyone here is always very glad to help you out, but a lot of the "basics" questions have been asked and answered many times.

And always remember:
