Hello all,
I'm Matthew J Van Howe, a teacher by day and an independent filmmaker by night. I've been at it roughly 4 years now, and I shoot using a couple different rigs. Canon HV40 with a Letus 35mm mini adapter with Nikon Primes, and I just picked up a Nikon D3100 (which I'm loving). I've made a few short films and a couple music videos and finishing my first feature film. I'm in filmmaking for the story telling and the cinematography. I try to make something beautiful from nothing and that's the biggest rush for me. I have no formal training, but I've been working hard to get to a point in my production value to make all the work worth it. I've had a lot of help along the way, and I'm happy to reach out to a filmmaking community.
