Greetings From Maine!

Hi,

I've been on this site for a few days now seeking information from more experienced filmmakers, and let me say, it is great.

I've learned a lot on this site, and I hope it will help me make a better filmmaker. I'm 15 and I live in Maine. I make short films with shooting VFX and my videos are all on YouTube and if you're interested just click the link below.

I've been using a JVC HD3, but I just purchased a Rebel T2i along with two lenses: a 50mm 1.4 and 18-55mm kit lens

That's about it, and if you're also a filmmaker from Maine I'd like to talk and maybe see some of your work?

'sup, dude.

Just got a T2i myself, but for stills. Finally retired the trusty Nikon SLR. :(

Btw, where'd you get that strange Tron 2 track on your link? That's "Falling"... but very different from the film's soundtrack. You do a remix or something?

I actually got it from a music site where people make their own music and upload it and its free to download and use. I can send you the link if you want

Welcome! I'm originally from the Granite State with relatives spread throughout Maine, now I reside in IndieTalk. Great place, good neighbors. Could use an espresso machine, but hey, can't have it all. ;)

Hey!

I checked out both of the "Random Action Movie"s and found them pretty enjoyable, pretty well made in terms of the special effects as well. Nice work.

Nice videos, man. Great job with the effects.

I'm in Louisiana, where most people believe snow is only a myth. Hope to visit your state someday and do some shooting!

Yeah, I'd like a link to any music sites you use as well.

That's a link to the song used in my video. On that same site, you can browse through the audio portal and choose different genres of music, and then click the download button and pop them in a movie!

Welcome Grasshopper!

I'm one of the audio guys here.
