Greetings from a filmmaker from Argentina

Hi people from IndieTalk, I'm Gabriel Ghiggeri, Im 21 years old and I live in the north of Argentina. I've been studing filmmaking for 4 years now, Im ending college this year.

I'm happy to found this website, here almost all productions are low budget.

I'll leave my youtube channel if you want to see some of my early videos, now Im finishing 2 "serious" shortfilms, but they are not online yet.

Hi there!

I work in Washington DC, at a small production company that makes TV/film. I work mainly as an assistant editor.

My friend lives in Argentina, and I heard there is a large film industry there. I would love to come to Argentina and visit my friend, and also be able to work on a project while I was there (maybe an independent film?) Is the industry hard to break into there? Do you have any suggestions as to how I could look for a job?

Hi, I thing that the industry here is not so big, but its in develop. I live in the north, here its quite difficult to get a paying job, if its that what you want... Im sure that in Buenos Aires its much better. I think that isn't gonna be difficult to get into a proyect to you. Im sure you'll get some proyect or job (because being from USA).
Mostly of the productions here are not big budget ones... also you'll need to get your espaƱol going.
I cant help you getting into a proyect right now... but here are some productions companies from here.

I would say that you can shoot them an e-mail or something, you can also try with other ones.
Cheers.
