gopro goes cinema (mod)

I don't get it.

I though people would use GoPro for sports , underwater ,maybe some fancy shots you can't get with your main camera.

But if you attach a rig to make the footage usable for a filmmaker with the gopro, I assume the rig might easily broke ?

I think this effort was more of "hey look how cool we are, we can mod anything!" which is what the company specializes in..

I love it :) I would love to make a short film with one of these. It's always fun to play with these things. You dont need to GET anything from it..

GoPro will get firmware upgrade to 4K 24fps i think. Dont quote me though. Image skew is still quite bad though :S

To be honest, those close up frames with that cmount lens could very well be 5D Mark III, if not FS100 or C300!
