Good place for mixdown in NYC on indie budget

Wondering if anyone can steer us in the right direction of a good house where I can do my mixdown (in NYC)...that will work on a real indie budget. (I'll gladly go in and start my mix at 2 AM if need be...I just can't afford $300 an hour.)

Likewise, any good places for a simple color correction, and bump up to HD?

Try Magno Sound or Sync Sound for the mix, and for the color correction, you won't get much better than $300/hour. Nice Shoes (www.niceshoes.com) is $600 peak, you can get a $300 off peak rate, or maybe lower, but you will have to wait until they call you.

I recommend DuArt. Their colorists are more experienced with features and shorts, where Nice Shoes and others in NYC are more experienced with commercials.

Yeah...I've been speaking with DuArt...the people there seem great. How are they for sound? (They seem to have the best rates...and they seem to want to work with feature film makers)
