movies GODZILLA MINUS ONE is a small budget miracle

I just saw this, yesterday. Supposedly it was made for 15 million, which is less than 10% of the budget of Hollywood's GODZILLA VS. KONG. MINUS ONE is probably the best Godzilla movie I've seen. What else surprised me was how resonant the human story is. I was misty eyed, a few times.

Before you go in expecting a fast paced blockbuster, I should convey that this movie takes its time to weave the tale and sink its hooks into the viewer. It is about a "family" of victims. It has a vintage Japanese feel and look.

MINUS ONE is a straight-forward throwback to the original GODZILLA. He's not nice, he is a scary monster. He doesn't swim with the navy or protect people. He is pissed. Loved it.

The intro of this says it nicely.
