My producer got the biggest fan he could find for our last shoot but it wasn't powerful enough.

Probably only about 3 feet in diameter.
Does anyone know where I can get a really big and powerful fan?

What effect are you trying to achieve? People in a wind storm? Would a couple of leaf blowers work? That's what I use.

I think a leaf blower would be perfect - and a lot more portable too.
