Future Life Critical Questions.

If you have seen my previous posts, I've always been asking about film school and where to go.

I just realized (from reading all ur posts) that film school can be a waste of money for some people.

Doing film in my freetime would be a better choice maybe?

Would that be a good decision? Use my money on a major of something else?

Psychology interests me and film could be a hobby for me when I'm older.

What do you people think? I just want to know if this sounsd like a good decision or not.

Getting a degree is a fine path for most people. Since you are interested in
psychology that would be a perfect fit for you. While you are going to college
you can work on movies in your free time to gain experience in that field.

What you don't want to hear - but I will say it anyway - is that any decision
you make will be a good one. Film school is a good decision for some people.
Getting a degree in something other than film but continuing to make movies
is a good decision for some people. Not going to college at all and pursuing
work in movies full time is a good decision for some people.

I understand the struggle. And choosing the path is difficult.
