Just a quick note say hi and introduce myself. I'm a Registered Nurse by day and writer/filmmaker by night. My husband and I are Futile Effort Films. We don't have any complete work to share yet, but lots in the making. We should have a number of shorts done and up on our website (www.futileeffortfilms.com) by the end of summer. I'm mainly interested in making surreal shorts, however I do have one documentary bouncing around in my mind about the mounting nursing shortage and the trials of nursing school. Its a bit of a dooms day documentary. Also in the process of co-writing a feature length movie about a drug induced battle with a demon. Hope to have that ready to shoot in another year or two. Just registering support for the nursing documentary. Coming from a UK perspective we tend to think we're alone in our nursing shortage with the US flourishing in their financially driven health care system. There is little popular knowledge of the US nursing system in the UK and i think that would play well here.
