Formatting Question

Good afternoon all,

I am currently stuck on how to format a particular section of my screenplay and I am wondering if you all might be able to help me out.

In this section of the script, I have multiple groups of characters in different bars, clubs and restaurants from one another. Is it acceptable to use INTERCUT here to switch back and forth between the groups like below?

INT. Bar A - Night

Member of Group A
Let’s have a drink

Member 2 of Group A
I concur

INT. Restaurant B - Night

Member of Group B
Hey, that looks tasty

Member 2 of Group B
It sure does

INT. Club C - Night

Member of Group C
Let’s boogie

Member 2 of Group C (shaking what her momma gave her)
Already on it

INTERCUT Between GROUPS A, B AND C

Member of Group A
That was good, let's have another

Member 2 of Group A
I agree

Member of Group B
Man that was good. Who's ready for desert?

Member s of Group B
I wish - I am stuffed!

Member of Group C (While doing the moonwalk)
This is how it’s done!

Member 2 of Group C (while doing the Kid n' Play with Member 3)
Actually, this is how you do it

Member of Group A
Time to go

Member B
That was exquisite!

Member C
Boy, you look good on the dance floor

Or do I have to use CUT TO: and enter the slug line every time that I switch between the groups? I’ll appreciate all the feedback that y'all can provide.

Thanks, Adam

Wow - sorry! I could have sworn I was starting a new thread that hadn't been covered before. A newbie and I post an unoriginal thread...

But thanks for the link and the input BG, it's helped a lot!

It is a new topic (to me at least) as you are working with 3 locations.

I would slug and establish each location 1st, then choose the intercut
method you like best and bounce between them from there.

-Thanks-
