How does this sound?

I'm making my girl friend a DVD card for valentines day.

It's like an ecard, but with pics and stuff I've filmed, then put onto a DVD...

Sound good? Or no?

But... why not go for something tried & true? Works like a charm every time...

1) Get a box

2) Cut a hole in the box

I've tried super hard to suppress my romantic side (which isn't working lol), but I just have to say, sounds like a good idea man! I'd recommend doing something more too haha (:

Just make sure it works on her DVD player before you give it to her
Nothing worse than getting her all excited and then it not working 'coz her player isn't standards compliant :yes:
 
I bought mine a big fat pearl laid in silver on a necklace - authentic from Mexico ;)

lol i once designed a Vday card on photoshop using a bunch of photos of us etc to make it look like a dvd for a rom com staring us (super cheese gets super laid bro)... inside i had a mix cd of all of our jams. she melted like buuuuuuuuuttttttttttttttttttttttteeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrr (i totally hate when people extend words like that lol)
 
In my experience, handmade stuff is always better (though don't skimp on the flowers too).

On occasion I'll write a song, record it, give a cd and pull out a guitar and sing it. Always goes over better than chocolate, even if I don't play/sing well on the day.

The dvd is a good idea, but make sure that there is something that you include something that you filmed new, especially for her. Just putting together old stuff won't have the same impact, even if it's just a camera on you introducing the slideshow, as it were.
