editing Fixing overexposed clips

I'm going through some surf footage I have and some of my shots I had the iris open too much and the clips look a little dull? hazy? Not that big of a deal but I was wondering what I could do in FCP to fix this?

I have a Video directory on my site for ease of maintenance. If you don't want people to see the contents of the folder, just drop an index.html file in there that redirects to the main page or the calling page. Then anyone who tries to go just to that folder will be kicked elsewhere. I personally don't care as everything in there is linked elsewhere anyway... Although I'm sure I should probably close it up for safety's sake, never know who's lurking out there waiting to break my system ;)

Could turn off directory listing with an .htaccess file too. or use a script that will allow you to control whats visible or not. Nice thing about that is those scripts let you add file comments, so you could put a synopsis next to each video file. :) (this is a nice script for that: autoIndex)

It took a few hours to export the project into a .mov file. For some reason, the last 1/4 is all black. Seems like I can't accomplish any editing without running into a problem...

UPDATE: Re-exported the movie before I went to movies (enjoyed Gran Torino. Much better than I thought it would be). It turns out there was a small audio clip far down the timeline, causing there to be extra time. Somebody slap me...
