Final Cut Pro not working

I just bought Final Cut Studio and was loading it to my Mac, all the programs loaded except when I try to open Final Cut it says "You cannot open 'Final Cut Pro.app' because it is not supported on this architecture."

Could someone please explain to me what the hell this means, and if there is anyway of fixing it.

Do you know the specs of your Mac and which version of Final Cut Studio you're running? There may be a workaround, but it won't necessarily run as fast as it should.

It's OSX Leopard 10.5 and its Final Cut Studio 2.

I've tried re-installing it but it just loads DVD studio, soundtrack etc.

I seriously think software will be the death of me >_>
