Final cut on my powerbook G4

Hey all

I was just wondering how well and which version of final cut would run the best on my 1.67 ghz powerbook g4. I have maxed the ram out on it up to 2gb as well. Is running final cut on a non Intel based laptop even possible? Also, I intend to be editing HD video as well, so would that make a difference?

I'm using the version 6.0.6 on my PowerBook G4.

One of the reasons I'm poking around on the boards
is because I'm rendering right now an it takes FOREVER.
But it works fine even with HD.

I'm running FCP 6.0 on my G4.

I will say that my laptop gets really hot, even with the cooler, so I do try to give it a few minutes to cool off when I have a big project.
