Filmmaker From Dubai

Hi guys,

My name is Faisal Hashmi, and I'm a filmmaker from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It's definitely hard to make movies here considering there's close to zero film industry (Mission Impossible being shot here doesn't count :)) But I've been making zero-budget short films however I can and using the lack of a film industry here to my advantage by trying to break into something that doesn't exist. My last film played at the Short Film Corner in Cannes Film Festival 2011 so yay to that :D

I've read a few posts here and this is exactly the kind of forum I need I see a lot of helpful people around and great advice. Hoping to be a regular here and contribute however I can :)
