Hey Guys

I know this sounds a bit vauge...

But i'm putting together a budget for a short film funding package and there are two spots that I haven't filled out yet

Film insurance - 1. Public Liability
2. Equipment

I really have no idea how much these would cost, it will be a 5 day shoot and have searched on the internet everywhere but can't find anything.

Does anyone have any ballpark figures I can put down?

Must not have searched TOO hard. There are tons of places online that will give you a quote for a low budget (under $1,000,000) film. That's your best route. Get some quotes. You can also go to your agent who does your home or auto or whatever (if you have those) and see if he can write a policy. My ballpark guess is about $150 a day. I think that's about what I was quoted.

I searched for a little less than 90 seconds and
found several places in New Zealand that offer
production insurance. I'd be glad to post some
links for you.

What you won't find are ballpark figures. Each
production will be slightly different.
