Okay, okay, I'm aware that this might be a stupid question but I can't find a straight answer anywhere else(probably because it's obvious to everyone else) So bear with me...
All fest entry forms ask if your film is a world premiere. Since I've just started applying and haven't heard back yet, how am I supposed to know? If I answer 'yes' but get accepted into another fest before hand, then I'll be disqualified, but if I answer 'no' I won't exactly be given fair consideration.
In a related matter, I'd like to cover my bases by applying to many fests, but several of them take place concurently. Do I just have to pick one and get over it, or can I make that decision later- if I'm lucky enough to get into more than one fest. In other words, can one pull out of a fest if they've already been selected?
BTW, this is re. a short film. Thank you so much,
Jonz
