After 10 years of being apart, the Planeteers must reunite once again.

Noah Baron, Matt Kohler & Robert Santiago produced this ‘fan-made’ trailer, directed by Jay Diaz, purely for fun. Having grown up watching Captain Planet, this certainly brought me back to my childhood. I thought cinematographer Tony Joun and the entire production team did an outstanding job bringing this bunglesome cartoon to life.

I used to love Captain Planet when I was a kid. I thought it was pretty good, especially the last bit with the recycle bin. :lol: It actually made me want to see an entire film based on the trailer.
 
The trailer was awesome, considering it was made by fans. It worked because it brought us back to our childhood and it was fun.

Not sure if a full length will have the same impact. It reminds me of Fantastic 4, and I hated what they did with that!
 
BULLS**T, "fan made".
Hey, I really enjoyed it, but that doesn't change the fact that this is a team's effort to sway bigger producers into picking up their project and running with it.

That said, I'm now curious as to whatever happened to Cup of Tears, which was the talk of film forums a few years back after their "pre-trailer" (to tempt producers/investors, see?) went viral.
