I cannot figure out where to find the area to edit my signature that goes below all my posts. I have seen people with signatures but I looked all through my User CP and can't find it.. now that I'm thinking of it though all the people I have seen, I think have been the premiere members. Do you need to be a paid member to have a signature to go below all your posts?

Yah, sigs are for Prems. 
There's many other benefits that come with it: None of those annoying popup adword links in posts anymore, huge PM box, upload attachments, a private members section for non-public chats, etc.
If you're going to use the forums a lot, it's a pretty decent upgrade. Of course, being a free member is cool too. All the info is out there for everyone.
