does something like this exist for S8?

I posted this on another forum so I apologize if any of you have already read it.. I'm looking for a cube kind of set up, something small. Where you would be able to view a few frames of super 8 film. I do wedding, and plan on giving the film to the bride and groom. But I would like to be able to give the special part (lets say a kiss) in a way where that they could actually view (instead of the DVD). Google didn't turn anything up... But i wasn't sure is something existed or what it would be called.

Ritz Camera used to sell a key-ring type of viewer (also most amusement park photo labs), which basically held a single 35mm frame. It was essentially a 1.5 inch cube, with an eyepiece at one end and a diffused piece of plastic at the other end to be held towards a light-source). Usually tapered a bit, like a pyramid with the top chopped off.

I 'spose you could mount several frames of S8 covering the same area as the 35mm frame, but I suspect that the individual S8 frames would just be too small by themselves.

Maybe blow a frame up to 35mm at a lab?

I'll see if I can find a place that still sells these.

Oh I see what you mean. Like a frame in a cube of glass, like an ice cube. Super 8 is too small for that.

Thanks guys for the input... I need something unique to display the 8mm film.

There was toy back in the day... it looked like hefty binoculars, you would slide a circle cartridge in it that had about 15 frames of film on the sides. Then you would click the yellow lever on the side to cycle through. Cant remember the name of it, but I might use that. The film they used in their disk's looked about the same size as S8...
The hard part will be finding a store that still sells them and then inserting my film... Might work.

If not then maybe i'll look into the 35mm viewer.

That's the ViewMaster

It's made for 3D viewing, though.

Edit: Looks like you could use non-stereo images, judging by the list of tv shows that had discs made.

EDIT:

I forgot about the Fisher Price viewer... I believe it came preloaded with a film but I could be wrong:

Fisher Price Movie Viewer Theater

Then there was the Melton Pocket Movie Viewer...

Of course there were Spider-Man, Six Million Dollar Man, Bionic Woman, and Star Wars viewers too (among others).
